i'm interested in doing a study of the "valentine" in 20th c poetry... i know thre's a pretty good essay on zuk's, there are probably already books about this. i like it when i walk down the street and someone has left a valentine, like this one in the sand, not addressed to me and yet because i found it, addressed to me. when i was living in berlin i saw a pavement-touched message (wet concrete) that said Ich Liebe Jessica. i like traces of love. even if one doesn't know who the lover was, or what he/she loved. how's mark?
