Off to my 2nd day of training at the yoga studio where I'll work one morning a week and then take all my classes. It's an anusara studio. But it's good for me to shake up my practice. And some of the teachers are also Ashtangis as well. Still, no one's included bakasana in any vinyasa sequence. I miss it.

I dreamed I was studying labanotation and had to teach a group of young ladies how to dance Martha Graham's Errand into the Maze. When I took them to the rehersal space, it was a souk and the song "Footloose" was playing. I forgot about teaching them and began to look obsessively for almond croissants and star sapphires.

Libya is the place to go now! No one believes me about Mozambique, possibly because I don't really know anything about it.

I think Libya would be a drag because of the Visa restrictions. If you can only see a place on a tour than it had better have knockout sights. Otherwise, isn’t the point of Africa that you can just kind of hang out, think, and see what’s going on?

Have you been to Tunisia? It’s cheap as hell especially if you get their cheaply, through Rome or a flight from Paris. I want to do a mosaic tour of Tunisia, Sicily, and parts of the boot.
It would be cool if you could just pop into Tripoli & Leptis Magna from Tunisia but I don’t really feel like I’m missing out on anything. Perhaps there are some that have to go where the other cocktail party guests haven’t just for the sake of it.
Dylan was right about Mozambique… I think it costs less if you fly into Johannesburg or make a longer trip through Cape Town cuz you want to see Cape Town, but if one is in Eastern S Africa, M’s capital with one of the most unique art museums is right near the border. The beaches, also, and lots more… for hanging out I think it cost more than S Africa but of course offers a much different experience.

Ha. You bet. But it's a non-issue. I haven't exactly accumulated even a modest amount of capital.

Yes. California is a big state. The best part of it being the Bay Area.
Ah, but it's foggy, rainy and cold up there too.
But it was meant to be that way up there. That's why the Chinese liked it so much decades ago. It's mystical and misty, like those crazy mountains in China.
