That's some serious fireworks going on during Lester's solo, and the switch in the rhythm section from song to laughter was quirky and original. Intriguing outro as well, with startling dynamics. Without getting too technical, I wonder how Lester, as a musician, manages to achieve that practically three-dimensional tone. Maybe it was just the production, but I'm not sure.
